Dog Sledding Tour

Hardanger Husky offer dog sledding tours in a 4 km long slope next to Myrkdalen Camping. Here you and your family can control your own dog sled in the stunning winter terrain next to Myrkdalsvatnet lake. The tour takes 30 minutes, including preparation time. Two and two people share a sledge. After thedog sledding we will enjoy a hot drink around the bonfire. 

Clothing

Dress in warm winter clothing, hat, gloves, neck warmer and good winter shoes.  

Age limit

The activity is suitable for everyone. Children under 4 years old are recommended to sit on the lap of an adult.

From 12 years old, one can try steering the dog sled themselves if they want to.

Meeting point

Drive down to Myrkdalen Camping, 4 km from Myrkdalen Mountain Resort - direction Voss. Meet 10 minutes before the activity starts.

Transport

If you need transport between Myrkdalen Hotel and Myrkdalen Camping, you can add this in step two of the booking prosess. Meet up outside Myrkdalen Hotel 10 min before the sledding tour.
