The ski school has various courses, both private lessons and in groups. Together with a skilled instructor, you can explore the slopes in Myrkdalen and get to know the area a little bit better.

Ski in - ski out from Myrkdalen Hotel
From the modern Myrkdalen Hotel you can strap on your skis and carve down wide and clear trails for all skill levels. The ski resort has nine lifts divided into two chair lifts, three t-bars, three button lifts and a slow-moving conveyor belt.
The 22 ski slopes are prepared every single day during the winter season; this ensures every trail is perfectly groomed Monday to Sunday.
A gathering place with traditional food in the middle of the hill
Located in the middle of the ski resort, Fjellstova Vetlebotn is the perfect place to take break from skiing. Let your legs rest while you refill some energy from the well-stocked menu.
Traditional food based on locally sourced ingredients are key for Fjellstova Vetlebotn. Dishes here are made from regional ingredients, simple fare such as sausages from Vossakjøt, beef stew from Haugen Gardsmat and dinner dishes like Norwegian meatballs with traditional accompaniments.
Food experiences at three restaurants
A deep love for gastronomy and use of local ingredients defines the kitchen at Myrkdalen Hotel. All dishes are made from scratch and most of the ingredients are delivered from local farmers. For breakfast in Restaurant Nuten you can get everything you need to keep your energy levels up for a new day. Whether you are skiing, taking a trip to the fjord or just relaxing at the hotel. Here you will find, among other things, home-made sausages, liver pate, gravlax and smoked salmon, made in our own smokehouse on the outside of the hotel.
After a long and eventful day, dinner will taste even better! At the hotel you will find three different restaurants with à la carte, fondue and home made pizza.

Myrkdalen Hotel is located at the heart of the mountain resort. The hotel has 112 rooms of various sizes - from standard rooms to suites with several bedrooms. If you want accommodation with self-catering, you can also live comfortably in cabins and modern apartments, all fitted to a high standard.
Cross-country skiing
In Myrkdalen you will also find a continuous trail network for cross-country skiing, which is located across the road from the ski resort. We have constructed a special ski bridge, allowing for safe crossing to the trails. Here you can skate even after the sun has set - the trail is lit up until 10:00 pm. If you want to climb a mountain top, both Bjørndalskamben and Finnbunuten are great day trips starting from the hotel.
