Our ever popular yoga weekend at Myrkdalen Hotel is back at 18th - 20th of November.Join us on a travel into a yogi’s world and enjoy a stress free weekend on the serene mountainside of Myrkdalen. Tasty and healthy meals, yoga and complete relaxation are key this weekend. All levels are welcome!
Karina Eline Kibsgård and Helle Karlsdottir, our experienced instructors will guide you through the sessions.
Jivamukti Yoga is a vinyasa yoga method that is practiced to energizing music.
The sessions are spiritual, uplifting and physically challenging. Emphasis is placed on physical yoga postures/asana practiced in a coherent flow with a playful approach. At the same time, chanting and yoga philosophy are important elements for getting into the core of the yoga practice.
Friday 18th of November:
18:00 - 20:00 - Jivamukti + Calm Yoga With Karina and Helle
We’ll start the weekend off with a combination of Jivamukti Yoga -a psychical challenging, vinyasa practice with music, chanting and a little bit yoga philosophy and calm yoga and very clam yoga for relaxation of our bodies.

Saturday 19th of November:
09:00 - 11:30 - Jivamukti Yoga Open Class With Karina
A typical Jivamukti session, including classic yoga philosophy (inspired by «focus of the month») with chanting, breath work, vinyasa flow, relaxation and meditation. Open for personal adjustment and modifications for different levels.
12:00 - Dinner
14:00 - 16:30 - The Art Of Being Present - Workshop With Helle
A workshop with tools to help you be present in your life - asana, pranayama, meditation, writing and mindfullness. If the weather allows it, parts of the class will be outside.
18:00 - Dinner
20:00 - 21:00 - Mantra and Meditation With Helle and Karina
Sound and music is touching. We will give an introduction to mantra, chanting, and sound practice from both a ritual and scientific perspective. What is mantra song and how does vibrations of sound touch us our mind and heart.
Sunday 20th of November:
09:00 -11:00 - Jivamukti Yoga Open Class With Karina
Full package - Chanting, philosophy, physical vinyasa practice and meditation
11:30 - Lunch
13:00 - 15:00 - Restitution Workshop With Helle
We will finish the weekend off by finding peace and let the mind take in everything we have learnt this weekend. Yogi sleep - take a deep dive into you inner worth whilst your body is relaxing, thoroughly guided by the instructor.
