Voss - the adventure capital of Norway

Myrkdalen is located in the northern part of Voss municipality, only 30 minutes from Voss town centre. Voss is a well known town, much due to the festival Extreme Sports Week - the largest festival of its kind in the world.

During the whole summer you can join a huge variety of adrenaline-filled activities - jump out of a plane high off the ground, feel the power of mother nature on a rafting trip, balance from tree to tree on the high ropes course or dive into the water in the swimming pool complex.

 

Voss Wind Tunnel
Fly like superman in the wind tunnel at Voss Vind! This activity is unique, exciting and it´s not weather dependent. This activity is great fun regardless of your previous experience and skill level, and everyone over 5 years can try the wind tunnel! The wind tunnel is located in Tvildemoen, approximately 3 km from Voss town centre

Voss High Rope & Zip-line Park
You'll find the high rope and zip-line park next to the Stranda River, only 15 minutes from Myrkdalen. The park consists of 60 elements -  two courses for the yongest children, two medium and two large courses as well as a zip-line course. The high rope courses are all about personal challenge and discovery as you make your way through the climbing and balancing elements hanging between the trees. You will overcome your fears and help others with theirs whilst having fun all the way round!

Rafting
This is one of the most popular summer activities in Voss - exciting, fun and suitable for beginners as well as experienced. From May to October Voss Rafting offers half day trips on the Stranda and Raundal rivers, depending on the water level. Both rivers offer world class white water grade 3 - 4.

Family Rafting
If you are after an exciting acitivity for the whole family, we highly recommend family rafting on the river Vosso. Voss Rafting offers family rafting every day from May to October. They usually take both large, steady rafts, and small 2-man duckies, for those who want more challenge. Parents can send their kids off on adventures alone, or join the fun! Either way there will be a lot of water and fun for everyone!

Vossabadet Swimming Pool Complex
This is a perfect family activity on bad weather days. The swimming pool complex in Voss town centre has three pools, a diving tower and a water slide. 

Tandem Skydiving
A tandem jump gives you the perfect opportunity to try skydiving. It is the ideal way to get an introduction to, and experience, the ultimate thrill of freefall securely attached to your professional tandem instructor. You'll find Skydive Voss in Bømoen, approximately 10 km outside Voss town centre.
